1. What Verdiq is

Verdiq is an AI-generated information tool that provides general legal information, financial decision support, stock market education, and document review, aimed at everyday decisions in India.

Verdiq is not a law firm, a licensed advocate, a chartered accountant, a licensed financial adviser, or a SEBI-registered investment adviser, and nothing in the app constitutes legal advice, financial advice, or investment advice. No advocate-client relationship, accountant-client relationship, or investment-advisory relationship is created by using Verdiq, regardless of how a response is worded. For advice on your specific situation, consult a licensed advocate, a chartered accountant, or a SEBI-registered investment adviser as applicable.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use & your responsibilities

  • Don't use Verdiq's outputs as the sole basis for a legal filing, court submission, or investment decision.
  • You are responsible for independently verifying any legal notice, letter, or document drafted or informed by Verdiq — including statute/section citations, procedural timelines, and factual details — with a licensed advocate before sending or relying on it externally.
  • Don't upload documents you don't have the right to share.
  • Don't attempt to use the app to generate content for an unlawful purpose.
  • Don't attempt to circumvent usage limits or reverse-engineer the service.

4. Subscriptions, billing & cancellation

The Free plan is available at no cost with the usage limits shown on the pricing page. Pro and Family are paid monthly subscriptions. Once online payments are live:

  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
  • You may cancel anytime from account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Pro/Family access until then.
  • Refunds: if you're charged in error, or cancel within 24 hours of a renewal charge without having materially used the plan's paid features that cycle, contact us for a full refund. Beyond that window, charges for the current billing period are non-refundable, but you won't be billed again after cancellation. See the pricing page for the same policy in full.
  • Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

5. AI limitations

Verdiq's responses are generated by AI models and heuristic tools. They can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect — including statute section numbers, case citations, procedural details, and stock pattern classifications. Always verify anything important with a primary source or the relevant licensed professional before relying on it.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verdiq is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on AI-generated content — including inaccuracies in legal citations, procedural details, or financial/market analysis — or from decisions made based on the app's output, including legal, financial, or investment outcomes.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using Verdiq and delete your account at any time.

8. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [City, State — registered office location].
